  1. A lovely idea - especially on holiday I would like to listen whilst lying on my sunbed, instead of squinting at a book!

  2. My Aunt actually records books and newspaper articles for the blind, she has been doing it for about 15 years and started at 70 years of age, bringing a whole new world not only to the impaired but to the likes of crafters too,she will be so chuffed that all are using the service.xx

  3. I got `Birdsong` by Sebastian Faulks on cd from the library to listen to in the car but the reader`s voice was so sonorous, I nearly fell asleep while driving!I`ll stick to listening in my kitchen from now on...it`s a lot safer!

  4. We listen to them on long journeys. I've got "never let go" for our trip to Devon in a couple of weeks. The kids used to love them on our trips to France, they heard the whole of Bernard Cornwall Arthur trilogy one year.

  8. My uncle was blind and would always have heaps of talking books to hand. My mum loves them too and listens to them while she's baking! Now you can crochet and read at the same time, fantastic! Emxxx
