Dungarees no longer

Can you see that pityfull gaze?... "please don't take my Duncan Greens to the charity shop mummy" (sniff sniff for effect)
"but they don't fit you anymore sweetheart"
(stomps into house)
Later that evening mummy turns into a magician
and in the morning.......
SMILES!

  6. They remind me of the dress Brittany Murphy wore in the movie Uptown Girls that was made from dungarees that belonged to the stylists sister.

  9. You are a clever Mummy, I bet she was delighted. I remember mum cutting my favourite dress up for dusters when I was a kid and 30 years later I still have not forgiven her, so yeah to you for saving your kid that pain :)

  10. What a clever lady you are! Thank you for stopping by, its lovely to "meet" you. Just read back a few, and it seems you have come up against the devil disguised as a woman - I met one of these back in 2003. Long story, but in short, I had to fight for my life against her. i did and I won! Hurray for me!!! For a while, I let her change the person that I was, but with time, I got myself back, and learned a big life lesson - just when i thought I knew everything! I suprised a lot of people with my fighting spirit - me included, and especially the "evil witch". If you need an ally, I'm right behind you. xxx

  11. Fabulous! Absolutely fab! Funnily enough I was routing through my recylcing clothes basket this morning and came across an old very soft denim dress from Next many moons ago when I had a very different body. I just couldn't cut it up so I washed it and it's going to get a make over - you've just given me a great idea. Thanks!
Wishing you a happy weekend, my lovely xxx

I wanted to let you know I'm hosting my first giveaway to say thank you to the lovely people who have followed my blog for the past year and been so inspirational and supportive. It would be lovely if you fancied entering. I'm going to be designing and making a couple of silver and gemstone pieces and passing them on to the lucky winners. Hope you're having a great day. Em x
